May some new horizons of life will open to me for living purposeful life and not to make career.


Here with I am writing about out coming of my illness of nearly one year during 2007-08. After taking a lot of medicine I came on the conclusion that my problem does not lies in body bit somewhere else.

So I started searching all the way round.
That year was very painful for me. Even thought of it brings shiver in my body. But I could come out of it after a long struggle a very painful journey.

Why I am telling u this? Really it is a question. But I feel everybody should understand this.If possible convey ur comments on my learning out comes.
After thinking a lot on my problem first learning outcome was…I was isolated personality as far as my personal emotions are concerned. I never use to allow any body to tell me about my emotional status. You may call I was ruthless about it. I was much workaholic and passionate about the work.

I got good result for it also. But that had driven me in to a great trouble.
1)    My First learning outcome:-
Emotions and feelings that are hidden, repressed, end in illnesses as: gastritis, ulcer, lumbar pains, spinal. With time, the repression of the feelings degenerates serious illness.  Then, we go to a confidante, to share our intimacy, ours "secret", our errors! The dialogue, the speech, the word, is a powerful remedy and an excellent therapy!
As I started thinking much over on it I could found very important thing that I have not yet decided what I have to do in this life? All the time I was engrossed in performance and very much happy with achievements of me. More ever my work was for to please someone or to impress someone.

When I understood the fact......

2)    My Second learning outcome:-
The undecided person remains in doubt, in anxiety, in anguish. Indecision accumulates problems, worries and aggressions. Human history is made of decisions.  To decide is precisely to know to renounce, to know to lose advantages and values to win others.  The undecided people are victims of gastric ailments, nervous pains.
Before taking first Pratidnya,I was much critic as well as sarcastic. I use to make bad comment on others work. Due to intellectual superiority which I use to feel about myself I use to become superior in discussion. But all this Intellectual exercise was mere gossip or dry intellectual games.
When I though over all, I found that I was much negative in approach that’s why I disturb many people so I could come out with third learning outcome.

3)    My Third learning outcome:-
Negative people do not find solutions and they enlarge problems.  They prefer lamentation, gossip, pessimism. It is better to light a match that to regret the darkness. A bee is small, but produces one of the sweetest things that exist.  We are what we think. The negative thought generates negative energy that is transformed into illness.

Because of all above I was in problem but I was making a scene that I am the best and the perfect.
But when I started thinking more I found that was very painful but it was reality. I started doing more introspection and I could come out with…..
4)    My Fourth learning outcome:-
Who hides reality, pretends, poses and always wants to give the impression of being well. He wants to be seen as perfect, easy-going, etc. but is accumulating tons of weight. A bronze statue with feet of clay. There is nothing worse for the health than to live on appearances and facades.  These are people with a lot of varnish and little root.  Their destiny is the pharmacy, the hospital and pain.
The problem of my health was going worse. I started taking medicine. Those were heavy doses. It was very painful and anxious. I was much confused….very much…Lastly I decided to travel a lot. I had been to Gujarath, Anandwan of Baba Amte, Sevagram Ashram, Pawanar Ashram and lastly to Search gram (Shodh Gram) at Gadchiroli of Dr.Abhay Bang.I had 20 min talk with Dr. Abhay Bang. I told him myproblem. At the last of meeting I could come out with fifth learning outcome.
5)    My Fifth learning outcome:-
The refusal of acceptance and the absence of self-esteem, make us alienate ourselves.  Being at one with ourselves is the core of a healthy life. They, who do not accept this, become envious, jealous, imitators, ultra-competitive, destructive Be accepted, accept that you are accepted, and accept the criticisms. It is wisdom, good sense and therapy.

That was the turning point…it brought a beautiful change in my life. My anger reduced and I started thinking twice of anything. I started understanding other people. I stopped my autocratic way of life.

And found my new learning out come.
6)    My Sixth learning outcome:-
Who does not trust, does not communicate, is not opened, is not related, does not create deep and stable relations, and does not know to do true friendships. Without confidence, there is not relationship. Distrust is a lack of faith in you and in faith itself.

Then I took second oath (Pratidnya) of Jnana Prabodhini. Now I was thinking bit a little different and decided to take all Janan prabodhini ,Ambajogai karyakartas to Kanyakumari. In Abhyas Shibir also I participated with a little difference. We enjoyed the both 17 days Kanaykumari stay and three days Abhyas Shibir. In between I had been to Israel for study “What is the Attitude of Israeli People towards life?” It was real eye opener for me. And came out with ….


7)    My Seventh learning outcome:-
Good humor. Laughter. Rest. Happiness. These replenish health and bring long life.  The happy person has the gift to improve the environment wherever they live.  “Good humor saves us from the hands of the doctor". Happiness is health and therapy.

My medicine reduced a lot. My Doctor told me it is really wonderful how fast u could come out of it. She is making my case study for presenting in International conference. After Going through all of this I have decided to take third oath. May some new horizons of life will open to me for living purposeful life and not to make career.

Intellect


Intellect is one of the important gifts for the human being. As it is very important so it should be utilized very effectively and efficiently. Most of the time it is found that we use our intellectual energy for unnecessary and useless activities like teasing others, disturbing others, for impressing others, for playing dirty things in so many such way which are self damaging and socially disturbing. What I think PRACTICE MAKES MAN PERMANENT BUT NOT PERFECT. Practice of using in wrong way will make permanently wrong user of Intellect.

Many a times I hear dissections like what is wrong in using our intellect for only goodness of me. If we take over view of this statement it appears correct but not right. Use of intellect for the betterment of self, very good but what is important that while doing so whether we are disturbing others if it is so then there is a hidden danger to you also. So use your intellect for betterment of you but that process should not be damaging for others.

As you all know where there is a start there is the end to it also. Creation and destruction are going on at every time and at every where. Same is true for our life. There is full stop for it at one point and at one place. Even though it is possible to become immortal. It is possible with help of our intellect. All the time we become part of the problems. In stead of getting away with the problem if we can become part of the solution for the problem then it adds new life in our existence and not only existence but also post existence. If we use our Intellect for the enhancements of the standard of our society, for inventions and discoveries, for creations and welfare of all mankind. It really institutes you for ever long.

What I feel the problem of India is neither economical nor political but it is intellectual and ideological. IT is conman picture that the intellectuals of the society are mostly engaged in the selfish and self centered motives. Under and limited utilization of intellect of such intellectual class neither enhance their capacity nor the Indian potential. Intellectual leadership or the creative minority are now slaves of money, fame and luxuries. One creative and intelligent leader with nationalistic attitude can change the picture of society. Swami Vivekanada, Maharshi Arvinda,Mahatma Gandhi, Dr Hedgewar Dr V Kurian, Dr Swaminathan, Dr Abay Bang,Dr Sam Pitruda,Dr APJ Kalam, Dr Mashelkar, Shri Rajendra sing, and so many, there is a great legacy of the same.

Changing our society is a Herculean task and what perhaps needed is a ‘meeting of minds’, thinking minds who want to change things for better. Let‘s join this mission for national development through Building self respect and self confidence in every section of society and motivating them to think beyond self.
Please convey your opinions and observations about the same.
We want to uplift society. How is it possible? Let’s see the grand achievements occurred or performed by personalities and organizations. The inference from this what we can get is when the creative, novel leadership with welfare ideas has an ability to transform those ideas in to the realities then and then only great development took place.
Example: - To uplift the living of society we should eradicate poverty. Poverty can be reduced only by providing good source of livelihood to the people. By starting milk cooperative with novel ideas and using great deal of practical intellect a great network “Amul” The test of India, has established by Dr V. Kurian.

What Indian Intellectuals should do? They should provide novel and creative ideas with different process to achieve it. Method of process research should develop in our society. Thinkers generate novel ideal but they have an inability to put them in to the reality and field workers with their practical intellect work out the ideas but they never document, shear, and analyze and enhance  the process they under go or perform.
The picture of industrial revolution in Europe was exactly opposite to it. Traditional workers with their intellect developed the new methods of innovations in the applied fields.
And in Israel bright Intellectuals enhanced the most important primary sector by actually working on fields.
In the National renovation and rebuilding work we require intellectuals who are visionaries as well as missionaries.

The Indian method of application of intellect was directed towards the enhancements of human capacities. So the explorations of all intellectual innovations lead for the manifestation of potential in man. It is proclaimed by our sears that man has divine potential that means infinite potential. So the Intellectuals developed processes after prolong experimentation with self and discussions amongst them with selfless motive. The main objective of the process was to evolve that divine (infinite) potential.  So the Intellectually crated environment which helps mankind to manifest the divine potential is called Dharma and the learning method with which the perfect manifestation is possible is called education.

 Those processes of manifestation of self was designed in such away that the behavior and attitude of individual influences the process. If the behavior and attitude is not in the in correct reference with the well being of society and universe then the process of ones evolution gets automatic break. Hence the person who wants to enhance his ability should have great morale vale and saintly lifestyle.
Thus the utility of the manifested potential was inherently useful for the well being of society.

Western method of application of intellect though based on objective orientation in similar way directed towards the enhancements of human capacities with developing material world out side irrespective of ones behavior and attitude and capacity. So now there is a great danger in using explored material development for the destruction of self and universe.
The person who wants to learn this material development knowledge has to take admission for specific discipline by competing with others and not with self. This process leads comparison and not evolution. The artificially crated environment called law which examine and regulate the process. If by Intellectual fraud or wicked behavior this artificial environment can be managed and incapable and improper persons can be winners and leaders.
Indian method is referred to self evolution and you can’t deceive yourself so the capable persons would be the leaders and winners.
Let’s use our intellect in creating such system which cannot produce bluffers and wild leaders.
In society intellectuals are engaged in variety of processes like
1)      Understanding and proving the established and ancient processes, their strength and perfect ness.
2)      By innovations and creating novelty with harmony in the society.

In holistic development both the processes should be considered. In many Religious and cultural organizations intellectuals are mainly engaged in the first type of process. We required sanatan thought. What it means? Nitya,Nutan and Tatkalin i.e. Ever, New and contemporary  means blossoming with strength of novelty.  So our intellect should be examined, nurtured, trained with these sanatan principals.

Development of the intelligent thinking process in western countries started after Galileo. In the early period Descartes' approach to science symbolize The Cartesian Split. He saw parts as separated from whole. That was exactly opposite approach from Indian vision(Ekam Sat).This approach saw trees and missed the woods, observed the man without society, culture, environment. This approach of reality also failed to see the interdependence of the parts of nature, their underline links and the overall unity.

According to Cartesian sciences, the creation was a mechanical whole, composted of Independent parts. While the Indian approach is organic whole and every thing is internally connected. The universe is the body of divinity (srishti purush) and we are the son of that Immortality.

This mechanistic model saw each part without looking context, background,etc, a look at which would change the meaning of the part itself. This theory influenced not only Physics but also man's approach to science, education, Medicare, Nature, Society, Politics, etc. Karl Marks, Darwin, Newton were influenced by this theory.

The Cartesian approach to reality influenced all aspects of western human
civilization for at last 400 year. At the same time the rise of western
political power influenced the thought in the colonial Nations. A highly analytic approach to science, knowledge and truth developed. Synthesis and holism lost out the race. In this paradigm, social units such as family, community and culture suffered the most. Individualism dominated in all the
spheres of life. Education with this attitude has created a number of aggressive individuals, who suffer from hypertension and other stress induced illnesses like depression and sleeplessness. This caused suicides, violence strife and wars. This thought decorated world with grand things and achievements but created danger for the survival of life on the earth.

This expressions motivated intellectuals to think again on the line of eastern approach. As Heisenberg put it, the vision of truth by the eastern spiritual tradition is beckoning the true scientist, the true development workers. This vision promotes intellectual, moral, aesthetic and spiritual happiness as opposed to the present day sense based, object induced pleasures.

Before 1947, for 1000 year we were ruled by foreign though and last 60 year we were fighting for Understanding and proving the established and ancient processes, their strength and perfectness of our own Ideology. Now time has come to march ahead by innovations and creating novelty with harmony in the society with correct references to our own Ideology.

Let's use our Intellect for making better India and better world to live and to ascent.

One of the evil of the western civilization is that we are after intellectual education and take not care of heart that is emotional education.

It only makes men ten times more selfish, and that will be your destruction. It is the pure heart which takes one to the highest plane, which intellect can never reach; it goes beyond intellect and reaches to what called inspiration. Intellect can never become inspired; only the pure heart when it is enlightened becomes inspired. Intellectual, heartless man never becomes the inspired man. It is always the pure heart that speaks in the man of love; it discovers the greater instrument than intellect can give you, the instrument of inspiration. Just as the intellect is the instrument of knowledge, so is the heart instrument of inspiration.

A pure heart sees beyond the intellect; it gets inspired it knows thing that reason can never know and where there is conflict between the pure heart and intellect, always side with the pure heart, even if you think what your heart is doing is unreasonable. When it is desirous of doing well to others, your brain may tell you that it is not politics to do so, but follow your heart and you will find that you make fewer mistakes than following your intellect.

The pure heart with is the best mirror for the reflection of truth, so all these discipline are for the purification of the heart. And as soon as it is pure, all truths flash upon it in a minute; all truth in the universe will manifest in your heart, if you are sufficiently pure.

If you come with intellect only, you can have a little intellectual gymnastics, intellectual theories but not truth and well being of universe. ---Swami Vivekananda

What I feel is Swamiji is not criticizing the Intellects; he is indicating limitations of intellects. He was also one of the greatest Intellectual which India has produced. Pure heart with intellect can uplift the society for greater heights.

अरुणाचलप्रदेश ६:-विस्तार है अपार ..प्रजा दोनो पार..करे हाहाकार ...


निसर्गाच्या सृजनाचा अविष्कार फार सुंदरपणे व मुक्तपणे व्यक्त झालेला आपल्याला ईशान्य भारतात पहावयास मिळतो. तिथले लोकजीवन पण असेच मोकळे चाकळे. अशा सुंदर निसर्गाचा व लोकजीवनाची नाळ स्थानिक लोकांची तुटणे अशक्यच. अरुणाचल प्रदेशातील अनेक बुद्धिमान विदयार्थी शिक्षणासाठी अन्य राज्यात जातात. तिथे चांगले शिक्षण घेतात. चांगल्या पगाराची नौकरी त्यांना महानगरातील मोठया उद्योग समूहात सहज मिळू शकते. शहरातील मोहजाल मात्र ते अडकून न राहता ते अरुणाचल मध्ये परततात.

एका दृष्टीने अरुणाचलच्या विकासासाठी हे खूप चांगले आहे. पण एकंदरीत अतिशय कमी लोकसंख्या असलेल्या या प्रदेशात रोजगाराची उपलब्धतता पण कमी. यातून अनेक सुशिक्षित तरुण सुंदर स्वप्न घेऊन परततात खरे पण कधी कधी त्यांची निराशा होते. साहजिकच असे सुशिक्षित तरुण भक्ष बनतात देश विघातक कारवाया करणाऱ्या संघटनांचे. दुसरी अजून एक गोष्ट घडते ती ही की संपूर्ण भारताशी त्यांचे नाते तितकेशे ताकदवाण बनत नाही. फक्त शिक्षणासाठी जायचे व परत यायचे एवढ्या पुरता त्यांच्या सहवास. संपूर्ण देशाच्या विविधतेशी,तेथील प्रश्नांशी, विविध सामाजिक विकासाच्या बदलांच्या प्रक्रीयांशी त्यांचे नाते निर्माण होत नाही. राज्यापासून देशापर्यंतचे भावनाचे, अनुभवांचे त्यांचे क्षितीज वाढत नाही.

खरे पाहता एकूणच ईशान्य भागात अन्य राज्यातून रोजगारासाठी येणाऱ्यांची संख्या बरीच जास्त. सुशिक्षित,बेरोजगार व शिकत असताना काही कटू अनुभव घेतलले या जवान पोरांमध्ये अन्य राज्यातून आलेल्या बांधवान प्रती अनेक गैरसमज नवनिर्माण करणारी राजशाही या भागात आपले पाळे मूळे सहज घट्ट करते. अन्य राज्यात अशी राजशाही फक्त प्रादेशिक अस्मिता वाढवते पण ईशान्य भागात या राजशाहीचे साटेलोटे परदेशी एजन्सीजशी असल्याने ही प्रादेशिक अस्मिता पुढे फुटीरवादी व आतंकवादी होते.

खरे पाहता भारताच्या अन्य राज्यातून जाणाऱ्या बंधूनी आपल्या आचरणाद्वारे आपण दुधातील साखर आहोत हे दाखून द्यायला हवे पण आपले प्रचलित संकुचित शिक्षण पद्धतीत तयार झालेली ही बाबू मंडळी स्थानिक लोकांना झारीतील शुक्राचार्य किंवा लुटारू वाटायला लागतात. त्यात मुंबई,पुणे व बंगलोर मध्ये घडलेल्या काही महिन्या पूर्वीच्या घटना अधिकच अस्वस्थता निर्माण करते.

व्यक्ती मधील अभिजात पुर्णत्वाचे प्रगटीकरण म्हणजे शिक्षण. हे अभिजात पूर्णत्व प्रगत व्हायचे असेल तर व्यक्तीला आव्हाने घेत अभिव्यक्त होता आले पाहिजे. पण प्रचलित शिक्षण पद्धती विद्यार्थ्यांना फक्त स्पर्धेत बक्षीस मिळवण्यापुरते अभिव्यक्त व्हायला शिकवते व अनेक शिकवण्या लावत चांगले गुण घेऊन बडया प्याकेजची नौकरी मिळण्यासाठीची आव्हाने घ्यायला शिकवते. त्यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांचे जीवन खुपच आत्मकेंद्रित व संकुचित बनवते. खरे पाहता सभोवतालच्या जेष्ठ व्यक्तींचे वागणे हे विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी आव्हाने घेत अभिव्यक्त होण्यासाठी मार्ग दर्शक असले पाहिजे.

माझी विचारधारा ही माझ्या जगण्यासाठीचा विचार आहे फक्त पुस्तकी 

पांडित्य नव्हे त्यामुळे लोकांवर बौद्धिक कसरती करत प्रभाव टाकण्याचा 

विषय तो असूच शकत नाही. मी दैनंदिन कसे जगतो यातूनच माझी 

विचारधारा लोकांना समजली पाहिजे. माझे जगणे त्यांना आवडले तर ते मी 

ज्या विचारधारेचा पाईक आहे ती ते मनापासून स्वीकारतील व त्या प्रमाणे 

जगण्यास सुरुवात करतील. आपण जगत नसलेली विचारधारा फक्त बोलण्या 

लिहिण्या पुरती मांडणे म्हणजे आपण फक्त बोलके पोपट आहोत असे नाही 

का ? 


या सर्वातून मला एक खूप चांगली गोष्ट जमायला लागली मी कुण्या एका 



व्यक्तीचा वा व्यक्ती समूहाचा वा विचारधारेचा द्वेष न करता त्यांच्याकडून 



माझे जगणे अधिक समृद्ध होईल यासाठीचे तंत्र व मंत्र मिळवत जातो व 



सर्वंजणांशी मैत्र होण्यास मदत होते. 

        
अभिव्यक्तीचे चांगले मार्ग आव्हाने देत विकसित करण्याची वृत्ती विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये संक्रमित करता येणे हे चांगल्या शिक्षकाचे लक्षण आहे. ते शिक्षक विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी प्रेरक व आदर्श पण ठरतात व ताकदवान व आकाशाला गवसणी घालणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांची पिढी यातून निर्माण होते.

ईशान्य भारतात अशा प्रकारची मुहूर्तमेढ १९२४ मध्ये स्वामी विवेकानंदांच्या जीवन विचारातून प्रेरणा घेणाऱ्या स्वामी प्रभानंदानी मेघालयातील चेरापुंजीला रोवली. फक्त ३८ वर्षांचे आयुष्य लाभलेल्या स्वामी प्रभानंदाचे आयुष्य इतके अनुकरणीय व प्रेरक होते की त्यातून रामकृष्ण मिशन,शारदा मिशन व विवेकानंद केंद्राच्या शैक्षणिक कार्याचा ब्रम्हपुत्र आज ईशान्य भारतात वाहू लागला. अरुणाचल प्रदेशात तर असे एकही गाव नसेल की तेथिल विदयार्थी विवेकानंद केंद्राच्या अथवा रामकृष्ण मिशनच्या वा विद्याभारतीच्या शाळेत शिकलेला नसेल.

“बालीजान” आसाम अरुणाचलच्या सीमेवर असलेले एक छोटे गाव. इटानगर-तेजपूर महामार्गावर उतरून १४ किलोमीटरचा पायी प्रवास, सोबतीला आसाम मधील छोटी,सुंदर मातीने सारवलेली घरे व त्याभोवती नेटक्या जपलेल्या भाजीपाल्याच्या बागा पाहत व मध्ये मध्ये सोबतच्या पार्ले जींचा आस्वाद घेत मी निघालो बालीजानच्या विवेकानंद केंद्र विद्यालयाकडे. माझे त्यावेळी वय होते २५ वर्षे. त्यामुळे चांगलाच उत्साह व रग होती. दोन तासात न थांबता मी दहा किलोमीटर पार केले. आता सोबत सुरु होती हिरव्यागार चहा बागांची. चहा बागांमधून चालण्याचा आनंद काही औरच असतो

 त्यातल्या त्यात सोबतच्या वाक्मनवर हेडफोन लाऊन भूपेनदांच्या आवाजातील 

 'एक कली दो पत्तियां, नाजुक नाजुक उंगलियां' एकत चालणे.

एक किलोमीटर चालून झाल्यावर भूपेंदाचे दुसरे गाणे सुरु झाले ...

नैतिकता नष्ट हुईमानवता भ्रष्ट हुई,
निर्लज्ज भाव से बहती हो क्यूँ ?

इतिहास की पुकारकरे हुंकार,
ओ गंगा की धारनिर्बल जन कोसबल संग्रामी,
समग्रोग्रामी,बनाती नहीँ हो क्यूँ ?

अनपढ जनअक्षरहीनअनगिन जन,
अज्ञ विहिन नेत्र विहिन दिकमौन हो क्यूँ ?

व्यक्ति रहेव्यक्ति केन्द्रितसकल समाज,
व्यक्तित्व रहित,निष्प्राण समाज को तोड़ती न क्यूँ ?

ही रचना माझ्या मनात सदैव्य हाहाकार निर्माण करते. तोच हाहाकार घेऊन मी शाळेत पोहोंचलो. बालीजानची ही शाळा आठवी ते दहावी पर्यंतची. अरुणाचलच्या अनेक भागातून मुले इथे शिक्षण घेण्यासाठी यायची.






यात मुख्यतः निशी बांधव जास्त. लोकसंख्येच्या दृष्टीने सर्वात जास्त लोकसंख्या ही अरुणाचलात निशी बांधवांची. निशी हे अरुणाचलप्रदेशचे योद्धे व लढवय्ये. प्रचंड श्रम करण्याची ताकद त्यांच्यात आहे.







मी पोहचेपर्यंत संध्याकाळ झाली होती. सायंकाळी काही मुले फुटबॉलच्या मैदानावर तर काही व्यायामशाळेत तर काही मुले शाळेच्या समोरील मोकळ्या रस्त्यावर फेरफटका मारत होती. मी पण त्यांच्या सामील झालो. थोडे अंतर पार करताच एक मुलगा थोडे वेगानी चालत माझ्याकडे आला व नमस्ते म्हणत माझ्या बरोबर चालू लागला.

“सर, कहासे आये हो ?”

“नये टीचर है आप ?”

“नही,पहले अरुण-ज्योतीका काम करता था अब VKSPV मे Education officer हुं”

“याने आप लाईफवर्कर है न सर ?”

मुलगा बोलण्यात चुणचुणीत वाटत होता. मी त्याला विचारले,

“आपका नाम क्या है ?”

“जोराम बेदा, इटानगर से हूँ”

 बेदा ने मला अनेक प्रश्न विचारले. माझ शिक्षण ऐकूण तो थोडा स्तिमित पण झाला. रात्रीच्या जेवणा नंतर बेदा व त्याचे अनेक मित्र भेटण्यासाठी परत आले. आमची जोरदार चर्चा सुरु झाली.चर्चा भर रंगात आली असताना अन्य राज्यातून अरुणाचल मध्ये नौकरीसाठी आलेल्या लोकांबाबत बेदाने आक्षेप घेतला. तसे हे माझ्या सवईचे झाले होते.

मी आता मात्र बेदाला आव्हान देत म्हंटल,

“अरे भाई आप भी तो थोडा हिंम्मत करके बाहर के राज्य मे काम करना सिखो. थोडा भारत और समझ मे आयेगा. चलो लगाता है क्या शर्थ ? आप पद्धाई के बाद अन्य राज्य मे काम करेंगे?”  

बेदा शांत बसला.

रात्र बरीच झाली होती. आम्ही सर्वानी एकमेकांचा निरोप घेतला.त्या दिवसी पासून बेदाशी मैत्री पूर्ण नाते वाढत गेले.१९९७ च्या दहावीच्या परीक्षेत इंग्रजी विषयात तो पहिला आला. अकरावी विज्ञानसाठी त्याने रामकृष्ण मिशन,नरोत्तम नगर मध्ये प्रवेश घेतला. या काळात मी त्याला भेटन्यासाठी नरोत्तमनगरला जाऊन आलो.

जोराम कुटुंबाचे व विवेकानंद केंद्राचे नाते पण या काळात अधिक दृढ झाले.बेदा चे वडील विवेकानंद केंद्राच्या अरुणाचल शाखेचे प्रमुख म्हणून काम पाहू लागले.१९९९ला मी महराष्ट्रात आलो व बेदाशी संपर्कच थांबला. पुढे तो  १२ वीला वैद्यकीय अभ्यासक्रमाचा प्रवेशपरीक्षेत तो राज्यतून पहिला आला.
बेदाशी संपर्क जरी नसला तरी माझे अरुणाचलातील केंद्राच्या कार्यकर्त्यांशी संपर्क होता. या वर्षी मी अरुणाचलवर लिहायला सुरुवात केल्यावर गौरी ताईचा फोन आला.
तीने खूप उत्साहाने विचारले,

“दादा,तू जोराम बेदाला ओळखतोस न ?”  

“हो”

“अरे तो IAS अधिकारी झाला. त्याने खास एक उल्लेख केला की माझ्याशी सरांनी शर्यत लावली होती की तू अरुणाचल सोडून इतर ठिकाणी काम करून दाखव. त्याने होम क्याडर न घेता पंजाब क्याडर घेतले. ती पुढे म्हणाली तो म्हणाला

“वो सर ने हमे challenge किया था न ! बाहर काम करके दिखाओ...देखा हम पंजाब मे काम कर रहा है !”

“हो ताई मी लावली होती शर्यत त्याच्या बरोबर.”



१५ वर्षान पूर्वीचा जोराम बेदा मी आठवत होतो. जग इतके जवळ आलेले आहे की गुगल सर्च इंजिनवर जोराम बेदा लिहिले व त्याबद्दल अधिक माहिती मिळाली व संपर्काचा पत्ता व दूरध्वनी क्रमांक.

खूप आनंद झाला. मी त्याला एक मेल लिहिला.

Writing u after long time. Remembering charming Beda in Balijan and some time a evening walk on the road in front of school. That time I was Education officer of VKV. Still remember 1997......RK mission Hall at Itanagar and flying visit to Narottamnagar while way back to VKV Niusa.

How are u ? Heard from Rupeshji that u still remember my challenge to all ur batch mate to work in other state. I really feel proud that u proved ur spirit by making it in to the action.

I do remember you. Well, the challenge was worthwhile. I've come a long way now.

Swami Vivekananda was surely an inspiration for us but you people were the REAL inspiration.

I have joined IAS Punjab cadre and working as ADC Moga district and Joint Commissioner, Moga Municipal Corporation.

Life in VKV was tough and now all that has helped me survive all odds! I am doing good by God's grace. Hope to see you sometime.

Yes, my most respected teachers you have made that difference. That difference is what we all are today. A generation of people from Arunachal Pradesh have benefited from your endeavors and your sacrifices. This write up is an ode to that crack team of young men and women who braved the predator ridden thick forests of Arunachal Pradesh to establish schools and educate the rural rusty children and what fine gentlemen and ladies you have transformed them into. We do salute the contribution of the likes of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Netaji Subash Chandra Bose in making this nation but personally I will give you a higher salute for the silent revolution that you all initiated in this forgotten tribal populace of the remote far-east corner of India. Your contributions are mightily commendable and will be etched in the history of Arunachal Pradesh for ever.
